LPU NEST 2023 Application Form has been released via online mode. Exam Dates have been announced. It stands for Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test. LPU NEST exam is conducted in different slots from January and April onwards. It is university level entrance exam which is conducted for various courses including B.Tech, MBA etc. Candidates who want to get admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes can enrol in the exam. No. of LPU graduated students are working at various MNC’s at high paying packages across the globe. In the year 2021-22, 431 LPU students are selected at packages of Rs.10 to Rs.62.72 Lakh.

Here are the details about application form for LPU NEST 2023 entrance examination:

• LPU NEST 2023 application form for B.Tech for Phase I has been released via online mode.
• Application form for LPU NEST 2023 is made available in both the modes online and offline.
• Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
• Candidates need to fill all the details carefully as there won’t be any correction facility provided to candidates.
• The application form for MBA for Phase I can be filled till 31st March 2023.
• Candidates must upload the scanned documents like photograph and signature to complete the application form.
• After filling all the details in the form take the printout of the same for future reference.

Application Fee:

• The application fee can be submitted through online as well as offline mode.
• The candidate can pay the application fee using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Online banking/ UPI and cash.

How to Apply for LPU NEST

• Step-1: Visit the website of LPU NEST 2023 (Link is given above).
• Step-2: Click on “Registration” link with basic details like name, email id, mobile no., gender, and password.
• Step-3: Pay the application fee in online and offline mode.
• Step-4: Fill the application form with details like personal, educational, communication details.
• Step-5: Upload the scanned document like photograph and signature.
• Step-6: Candidate need to book the slot, date and time to appear in LPUNEST exam.
• Step-7: Take the printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

LPU NEST 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Here candidates can check the eligibility criteria which they need to full fill before filling the application form:

For B.Tech Course:

• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Qualification: Candidates must pass class 12^th class or equivalent from CBSE, CISCE, or State Board or any other recognised board.
• Subjects: Candidate must have passed their qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and English as mandatory subjects.
• Marks Criteria: Candidates must secure at least 60% aggregate marks to qualify for exam.
• Relaxation: 5% relaxation will be given to Northeast state and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

For MBA Course:

• Qualification: Candidates must hold bachelor’s degree in any discipline from University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized university, college, etc.
• Marks: Candidate must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate to qualify the exam.
• Scores Card: Candidates having MAT, CMAT, CAT, NMAT, XAT score card will be eligible to get admission.
• Appearing: Those candidates who are appearing in final examination 2023 will also be eligible to apply for exam.

 LPU NEST 2023 Exam Pattern

For B. Tech:

• strong>Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted via online mode.
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• Total questions: There will be total 125 questions in the question paper.
• Types of Questions: The paper will contain Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Medium: The medium of exam will be English language only.
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

For MBA:

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted in online mode.
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
• Total questions: There will be total 80 questions in the paper.
• Types of Questions: The paper will contain Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

LPU NEST 2023 Syllabus

There is no particular syllabus for the LPU NEST 2023 entrance examination. It is recommended to all the applying candidates to prepare from the syllabus of classes 11^th and 12^th.

The syllabus for MBA will contain the topics like General Awareness, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.

The syllabus for B.Tech will contain topics such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Aptitude, and English. 

LPU NEST 2023 Preparation Tips

Following are preparation tips for the LPU NEST 2023 exam which helps the candidates to prepare well:

• Go through the whole syllabus and the exam pattern of the LPU NEST.
• Create your study format and stick to it religiously.
• Try to avoid the last minutes of preparations.
• Work through the previous year’s questions and sample papers.
• Maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid engaging in any harmful activities.
• Stay focused on your studies by avoiding all the distractions.

LPU NEST 2023 Slot Booking

The LPU NEST slot booking procedure will be started by the authorities through online mode. The successfully registered candidates will be able to book their slots for appearing the exam. After the slot booking, the admit card will be generated for the candidates.

The Slot Booking for both courses of will start from 15th March 2023. The slot booking will be started through online mode only.

LPU NEST 2023 Admit Card

The LPU NEST admit card will be made available through online mode. After successful registration, the candidates will require to book slot for appearing in the exam. Once the slot booking is done, the candidates can download the admit card to appear for the exam.

Admit card will be the most important document to carry on the day of examination. Candidates without admit card will not be allowed to sit in the examination. Candidates will need to take the printout of the admit card for future reference and on the day of the examination.

LPU NEST 2023 Result

The LPU NEST result for phase I will be declared from 5th May 2023 via online mode. The result for all the courses will announce separately on the website of university.

To check the result, the candidates will be required to provide their registration details such as registration number, password, date of birth, etc. Candidates who clear the online test will be invited to attend the counselling round to provide choice for their course specialization.

LPU NEST 2023 Counselling

The LPU NEST counselling will be organised for those candidates who will get qualified for the examination. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process. All the process of counselling along with the seat allotment will take place through online mode.

Some of the top recruiters are Amazon India, Microsoft, Federal Bank, SAP Labs, TCS, Flipkart, P & O Cruise, ICICI Bank, CEAT, Synopsys India, Federal Bank etc.

Recently, Yasir M. (B.Tech, CS student) has been offered a record breaking package of Rs.3 crore in Germany. Hareksrishna Mahto, a B.Tech CS student got selected in Google India at the package of Rs.64 lakh.

Candidates will need to provide the choice of the course in order of preference during the counselling process. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of the rank in the exam. Candidates will need to carry the documents for the verification round in the counselling process.
