The AMU offers three types of courses selection – Test course in which candidates are selected through centralized Admission Test, Departmental Test course in which candidates are selected through Departmental Test and Non-Test course in which candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in their qualifying examination. AMU syllabus 2023 varies for various offered courses. There is a different syllabus for each academic program to be offered in AMU. For UG courses, candidates need to study the exam as per the syllabus prescribed for 11th & 12th level respectively.
For PG courses, the syllabus will depend on the Aptitude Test/ English and relevant technical subjects.
Here are some AMU preparation tips for entrance exam conducted for 2023 admissions:
AMU 2023 Admit Card will be available through online mode. To download the admit card, candidates need to select the course and then enter the application number. AMU admit card consist of important details like roll number, time, test date, exam center, address, etc.
AMU 2023 Admit Card will release in second week of May 2023. It is an important verification document that is mandatory to enter in the examination hall. No admit card will be sent to the candidates via post or any other means. Candidates are also allowed to bring a valid ID proof to the exam hall.
The AMU 2023 Answer key will be released through PDF format. Candidates can report any discrepancy against the answer key on or before the last date. The answer keys will be available in online mode.
The AMU Answer key 2023 will comprise of correct answers for every given question. The candidates can estimate their scores before the actual announcement and authority will also provide the objection facility to the candidates. The final answer key will release after the provisional answer key.
To get admission in the University, candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks. AMU Cut off percentage is decided by considering various factors like number of candidates registered for test, number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam, etc.
On the basis of cut off marks, authority will select the candidates for final admission procedure. Candidates have to score more than the cut off to be eligible for further admission procedure.
The result for the AMU entrance exam 2023 will be released in PDF format. The qualifying candidates in the test will be eligible to participate in the AMU counselling procedure. The AMU result will be released in second week of July 2023.
The details mentioned in the result will be about counselling date and time, counselling venue, roll number, rank obtained, etc. There is no provision of rechecking/ revaluation. AMU does not provide any separate counselling call letters to the selected candidates.
The AMU will release the separate notice for AMU counselling 2023 after the declaration of the result. The AMU 2023 counselling procedure will commence from 3rd week of July 2023. Those who are shortlisted for the counselling procedure need to report as per the schedule and venue for the counselling process.
Candidates also need to specify the preference for course/ branch/ main subject/ stream, etc. during counselling process. Carry all the required documents for verification after which candidates are offered admission.
